The sheer wildfire effect of AI is at every turn. It’s burning up the human/tech world so fast and so hot, you almost wonder if you should run towards it, or duck and cover and see if the fire storm passes.
Potential employers these days want to see resumes that list both soft and hard skills. They don’t want to just know if you have html/css skills or what project management programs you used at your last place of employment, they want to try to peek into what kind of person you are. Are you on-time, are you dependable, are you a good team player? Do you play nice? They want to know a bit about what is under the surface, and they have no choice but to use keywords and database searches to do this. Quite an impersonal way to find the right person.
Wouldn’t it be nice if AI could just write your resume for you (it can) and just go find that job for you with those database searches while you brush up on your golf or couch-lounging skills? Today we as humans can make technology work for us better in an almost unlimited number of ways, so we can work smarter not harder and have time at the end of the day to still enjoy that game of golf.
Wading through the knee-deep flood waters of economic downturn, mass tech layoffs and a world full of uncertainty, there are those of us who have been around that block a few times now and this time around find it a way more interesting place.
The sheer wildfire effect of AI is at every turn. It’s burning up the human/tech world so fast and so hot, you almost wonder if you should run towards it, or duck and cover and see if the fire storm passes. Well let me tell you from firsthand experience, It is highly unlikely you will ever outmaneuver a wildfire.
As a living human species we are programmed to adapt to survive. There will be those of us who, through the courage of pure curiosity, are not afraid to stand at the frontier, who are able to embrace the changes a bit quicker and want to then bring them into the world to share in a more approachable stream rather than a rushing river. This essentially is how DuckByte came to be… Two lovers of language, art, design, and culture (who through their humanness still need to put food on the table) found themselves magnetically drawn to play within the seductive interface of where humanity and technology meet.
For me, there is no turning back now, I am drawn into the show, at the edge of my seat with popcorn in hand excited to not only see how AI can make the human experience more human, but now I am not just yelling and cheering at the characters on that silver screen, I am a player within the story. Participation is creation, it is the marriage of art and technology of consciousness, it is the fulcrum that brings form to the abstract, it is the marriage of soft and strong.
We are excited to see how we can make AI work for us all, if you are interested in learning more about what we can do for you, feel free to reach out.
